人们常说：“母爱如海，父爱如山”。在我的记忆中，妈妈每天在家里含辛茹苦地照顾我和弟弟，而爸爸则拼命地工作、挣钱养家。有一件事让爸爸在我心目中的形象更加高大。
People often say: "mother love like the sea, father love like the mountain.". In my memory, my mother takes care of my brother and me every day at home, while my father works hard to earn money. One thing makes dad look bigger in my mind.
今年，在即将庆祝六一儿童节的时候，老师选我参加了六一儿童节文艺汇演，老师让我们表演的同学每人准备一双粉色的舞鞋，我一回到家，只顾着玩耍，把这件事情忘得一干二净，一直到了星期天的晚上，当我整理书包准备明天上学的时候，从书包里面掉出来一张纸条，上面写的一条就是准备一双粉色的舞鞋，看到纸条之后，我当时就惊呆了，天都黑了，商店应该都关门了，可是我的舞鞋怎么办？没有舞鞋我怎么参加演出啊？

在我万般无奈的时候，我想起了我的爸爸，很想给爸爸打电话让他帮我买，可又转念一想，平日里爸爸工作忙的都顾不上回家，他会去给我买舞鞋吗？随着时间一分一秒地过去，我着急得像热锅上的蚂蚁，在客厅里面来回地走动，怎么办?怎么办？实在没法了，我拿起妈妈的电话给爸爸打了个电话，小心翼翼地给他说了买舞鞋参加学校演出的事情，爸爸似乎在电话里面听出了我的担忧，电话那头笑着对我说“女儿，你放心吧，无论如何，今天晚上我都会把你舞鞋送回家，不会耽误你去学校参加演出的。”听了爸爸的安慰和保证，我放心地去吃晚饭了。
