This Wednesday is labor day, also known as international labor day.
May 1st Labor Day originated from the strike held by more than 216000 workers in Chicago for the implementation of the eight hour working system. After arduous and bloody struggle, it finally won the victory. In order to commemorate this great work movement, in July 1889 Second International announced that every may must be international labor day. This time, workers from all over the world responded positively.
There are many countries that celebrate May Day: China, Japan, Russia, the United States, Germany, Italy, Switzerland.
May day is a holiday for all workers. Although we have a holiday, many uncles and aunts still stick to their jobs and make contributions to our better and safer lives. Thank them!
We also want to thank our father and mother for their hard work and dedication, so that we can learn in such a beautiful campus. We should also use our ability to care for the people around us, help our families share the housework and do what we can.
May we work together to create a better future!
