星期六下午，阳光明媚。我跟着爷爷奶奶来到菜园里挖红薯。

走进菜园，我非常惊讶，只见一大片绿油油的景象，看了半天都没发现红薯的影子。我忍不住问爷爷：“爷爷，红薯在哪里呢？”爷爷笑眯眯地说：“红薯就在你的脚底下呀！在密密麻麻的红薯藤下面呢！”我迫不及待地说：“那我们开始吧。”

说完，我立马就蹲下来用手扒开那些红薯藤。一旁的奶奶看见了，说：“傻孩子，不要急啊，先要把这些藤割完才能挖哦。”奶奶很快就割完了一大片红薯藤。紧接着爷爷小心翼翼地开挖了。忽然，一窝紫红色的红薯出现了，像一群胖嘟嘟的小宝宝，可爱极了。我连忙伸手想去拔出来，可是我费了九牛二虎之力也没弄出来。正当我着急的时候，奶奶乐呵呵地说：“你先要摇晃几下，泥土松了才好拔呀。”这个方法果然有效，不一会儿，我们就挖出来了一大堆红薯。虽然我挖得满头大汗，可是心里却乐开了花。
